This issue is in the same predicament as my main cause. Big money does not want it passed. They will lie and do anything to prevent universal health care. Now they have started the socialism scare tactic.
The way this works is the few that would lose money if this passed. Doctors (AMA against it) for profit hospitals the major drug companies (under this plan drug use would go down) the main player is the health insurance industry they would lose everything. So to prevent this from being enacted they pay our lawmakers through lobbyist. Our leaders vote it down lie to us and tell us this is socialism and it will destroy our country. Many believe the lies and through fear our leaders control us.
My fear being retired is having a major health issue and loosing everything I have worked all my life for. Because the for profit hospitals are ruthless they only think of profits. They will sue you and take your house and everything you own to satisfy their profit goals.
Every person should see Michiel Mores Sico it tells the truth on health care in this country compared to other countries. The Canadians love their system health car is free to all Canadians they love it and do not have the stress we have.
We must not believe the lies the big money tells us and quit buying the scare tactics our leaders use to control us. Health care for everyone is something we can do to make our country a better place for all of us. Lets beat the big money boys and pass this much needed law....
By the way my major fight is ending the war on drugs do some reading and see it is a major waste of money. We could take the money wasted on this war on America and pay for universal health care for all at no additional cost. Quit putting passive non-violent people in jail for making a personal choice.
