Wounded and Waiting

We let them get wounded and then make them wait to have their wounds treated.  We let their minds get wounded and then wonder why they commit suicide, why their families fall apart, why they end up homeless.  We do a lot of talking but not enough doing when it comes to them.  Where are we when they need us?

I have several videos on PTSD and what they have to go through when they come home wounded by the ghosts still trying to kill them.  Until this nation figures out that PTSD is a wound, more will just have to wait to begin to heal.  The sooner they are treated, the better the recovery rate.  Time is wasted and so are their minds in the delay to treat them. If you think the numbers are bad now, you've only seen the beginning.
