We mustn't forget that we share the world with animals. I'm a great lover of animals, both wild, farm ones or pets. It hurts to know that lots of animals suffer from people's activities. The HS of the US protects the animals and their habitats. That's why I support them

I support The Humane Society because they protect animals from cruel fates. I am a huge animal lover.

I love the HSUS action alerts that help me persuade Congress and state legislators to protect animals.
more than a pet store
I visit my local Humane Society monthly to get material (pictures) to create paintings for my blog. I've gotten to know their staff rather well and I'm impressed with how thorough the adoption process is. Pet owners are educated about what breeds best fit their lifestyle, all animals are spayed/neutered, given an ID chip, vaccinated, and asscessed by an animal behaviorist prior to adoption. All of this is offered to pet owners at a price that is below their cost. It's truly amazing operation.
Adopt a Pet
So many adorable animals are abandoned and need a loving home. The Humane Society is great b/c they give your pet the necessary shots and obediance training classes.
