Change.org is seeking a Communications Assistant to join our team and help with press, scheduling, media monitoring, and external communications on the world’s fastest growing online platform for social change.
This is a one-month contract position, with the possibility that it will turn into a full time contract thereafter.

The Communications Assistant will provide crucial support to help take our media and communications work to the next level.
Specifically your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to our NYC-based communications director and broader US communications team.
- Scheduling interviews and managing travel arrangements.
- Tracking and monitoring media coverage of the Change.org brand.
- Responding to press inquiries about Change.org campaigns and, when necessary, fielding requests to appropriate parties.
- Providing additional support to the Change.org communications team as needed.
Candidates must be entrepreneurial self-starters excited to join an ambitious, fast moving organization working for social change. Regardless of experience, we are looking for a passionate, hard-working, organized and detailed-oriented person who has excellent writing and interpersonal skills and wants to be part of an organization working to change the world.
We require that applicants live in New York City. This is a one-month contract position, with the possibility that it will turn into a full time contract thereafter.
