Director of Finance

Change.org is a profitable social venture growing at more than 500,000 new members a month and pioneering a new model of collective action, empowering anyone to start their own social action campaigns to change their community, city, or country. Every day real change occurs because of campaigns started on Change.org.

The Director of Finance will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations, ensuring delivery of the accounting, administrative, business planning and budgeting efforts of the company.

Compensation is competitive, and the position can be based in New York City, Washington, DC or San Francisco.
 
The Director of Finance responsibilities will include:
  • Developing budgets and financial models to guide aggressive global expansion;
  • Managing outsourcing of various financial operations;
  • Providing reporting and analysis to business teams;
  • Supporting new and existing operational functionality.
Other Requirements
  • Significant financial experience; advanced operational experience.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment to lead and drive international expansion activities.
  • Sound track record in successfully managing and mentoring a broad range of financial operations.
Candidates must be entrepreneurial self-starters excited to work in an ambitious, fast moving organization working for social change.
