Documentary regarding pediatric AIDS
A documentary detailing the life of a child suffering from the HIV/AIDS pandemic will be filmed by Colin Crowley of Newbeat Productions in Kenya during the summer of 2007. He will spend several months in Kenya, following children who are HIV+ to show what their every day life is like. He will also follow a child as he/she is admitted into a hospital which AFCA works and will follow the same child as they reach a healthy state again, thanks to the donated medicine we give them. This documentary is meant to bring the worlds largest humanitarian crisis to the forefront by introducing us to children who are presently suffering due to the pandemic. We hope to show that there is hope in the midst of suffering...that if we help the kids, they can live full lives and become productive citizens of their country.
