One way to prevent even more homelessness is to increase funding for the Housing Voucher Program (Section 8) which assists low-income families with affordable housing. Congress will soon consider cuts, level-funding, or (hopefully) increases to this vital program.
Urge your federal legislators to increase funding to HUD's Housing Voucher Program.
