Where Peace Lives

Where Peace Lives fosters peace and cultural understanding through art and media programs. The International Peace Mural Exchange allows young people to create and exchange murals depicting peace. The process teaches them how to resolve conflicts in a positive way. The intention is to reduce aggressive behaviors and give young people the tools to mediate tense situations. During the project, they will learn negotiation techniques and communication skills. Young people see how visual communication can and does impact cultural understanding by creating a new conversation for peace.
