The demand for quality after-school programs in West Oakland is indisputable, and increasingly important to address. The youth of the Oakland area demonstrate this need with enthusiasm and dedication to the few existing programs. They do this with continual attendance, despite less than ideal conditions. Seeking to provide an accessible, sustainable, and quality resource, What Now America (WNA), is excited to establish an after school program in West Oakland.
