Tumbleweed was founded in 1972 by a group of citizens concerned with the plight of youth in Phoenix. In 1975, Tumbleweed opened the first Youth Crisis Shelter, providing crisis intervention for youth and their families (it remains the only non-system home for youth in the valley.) Tumbleweed now operates eleven programs that serve homeless, runaway, conduct disordered and at-risk youth ages nine to 22. We offer short and long term shelter, group homes, independent living programs, outreach and other services for homeless youth, counseling, job development, tutoring, parenting skills, and more.
Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development has not yet started any petitions.
