The Brights Net

The purpose of this organization is to sustain and support the Brights movement (see the movement''s three aims at www.the-brights.net, and follow the major home page links to a synopsis, a set of nine principles, and educational videos explaining the movement).



In brief, the overall organizational endeavor is to inform and motivate growing numbers of persons who have a naturalistic worldview (free of supernatural/mystical elements), to more openly and constructively engage in activities that 

• promote better public understanding and greater societal acceptance of the naturalistic worldview, and 


• further civic involvement and participation by supernatural-free citizens. (Currently the naturalistic worldview is insufficiently expressed within most cultures.)
