Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom

  SYRF is a youth driven, interfaith and multicultural project of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice – launched to educate, organize, and empower spiritual youth and young adults. By connecting spirituality with the commitment to social justice, religious liberty and a woman’s right to choose, SYRF provides opportunities for youth and young adults to put their faith into action and advocate for choice. SYRF raises the voices of a new generation of pro-choice leaders by providing youth and young adults with opportunities to shape the future of important issues that affect them, including: Comprehensive Sexuality Education Religious Liberty HIV/AIDS prevention Access to family planning services Access to legal, safe, and affordable abortion services (medical and surgical) Youth and young adults (16-30) from various and diverse faith backgrounds and cultures work together to educate their peers about reproductive choice issues, organize events to address faith and choice, and mobilize support for pro-faith, pro-choice policies.
