For nearly a century, the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants has worked to help refugees fleeing war and persecution find safety and ultimately a permanent home where they can live free of persecution, provide for their family, and have hope for the future. Additionally, we have worked helped immigrant in the United States build new lives, become productive citizens, and pursue the American Dream.
We help refugees who are:
· Fleeing war and persecution to find immediate safety and assistance
· Resettling in the U.S. to start a new life
· Children unaccompanied by their parents or other responsible adult who have moved to the U.S.
