Despite our nation’s efforts to protect our wildlife resources, private interest, neglect, ignorance and many more factors continually challenge our ability to enforce environmental legislation and to protect that which needs the most protection. That is where PEER steps in. Our mission is to ensure that our government abides by its own environmental laws, and to further ensure that our environmental legislation is made with the best interests of our nation’s delicate wildlife in mind. We continue to accomplish this by acting as an intermediary for courageous public employees who wish to expose environmental offenses allowed or enacted by our government to the public.
