One Heart

One H.E.A.R.T. was established in 1998 to address the high rate of maternal and newborn deaths during childbirth in Tibet. One of every 33 women die during childbirth and one in ten babies die within the first month of life. One H.E.A.R.T. is working to reduce these tragic numbers through its essential programs.
