Nonviolent Peaceforce

Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is creating a large-scale corps of well trained, unarmed peacekeepers who are invited on a nonpartisan basis to areas of violent conflict NP?s unarmed peacekeepers protect people by working with local groups in applying effective and proven approaches to peacekeeping that deter violence and protect human rights. NP provides one-on-one accompaniment and community presence to: provide protection to people and communities, and serve as a non-partisan bridge to understanding and conflict resolution.
