National Low Income Housing Coalition and Low Income Housing

Established in 1974, the NLIHC is solely dedicated to ending America''s affordable housing crisis. NLIHC is committed to educating, organizing, and advocating to ensure decent, affordable housing within healthy neighborhoods for everyone, through providing information, formulating policy, and educating the public on housing needs and the strategies for solutions. Through forums, network building, timely and informative publications, and its Web presence, NLIHC sustains a national network dedicated to affordable housing and healthy communities at state and national levels. NLIHC is also committed to ensuring the participation of low-income people and has established a Scholarship Fund to underwrite their participation.
