The Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, formerly National Labor Committee, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1981. The Institute is headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, the United States with offices in El Salvador and Bangladesh.
Mission
The mission of the Institute is: to help defend the human rights of workers in the global economy;to empower workers in the developing world by educating them about their fundamental legal rights and assisting them to organize; and to educate global citizens about their role as responsible consumers.
