The Methuselah Foundation is a non-profit medical charity dedicated to extending healthy human life through proven programs supported by people like you. The Foundation supports a variety of strategies that will accelerate progress toward a comprehensive cure for age-related disease, disability, and suffering.

The ultimate goal of the Foundation is nothing less than to enable humans to live longer, better, and wiser, by defeating age-related disease and suffering. Supported through the private donations of individuals and organizations that share this common vision, the Foundation has become an agent of change, replacing resignation toward the suffering of aging with a new understanding of what is possible. By including a full range of near, mid, and long-term strategies within the scope of its vision, the Methuselah Foundation expects to return powerful and measurable results to its supporters within timeframes that are meaningful to them both as individuals and to society at large.

Aging is a thief that robs us of our most precious resource - the wisdom and experience embodied in every human life ? even as it increases the burden on our already strained healthcare systems. To advance its core mission of ending age-related disease through awareness, education, scientific research, and direct community outreach, the Methuselah Foundation supports three main initiatives:

My Bridge 4 LifeTM is an online and offline community tool that offers near-term solutions to the diseases of aging. MB4L takes the overwhelming nature of a major health crisis; divides it into manageable phases; sets goals for each phase with the user/patient and their community; and builds a wellness plan for life in the process.

The Methuselah Mouse Prize (Mprize) is a scientific research prize awarded to scientists who successfully extend the youthful lifespan of the laboratory mouse. This competitive research structure accelerates the creation of revolutionary solutions, broadens society''s ideas about what can be achieved, and fosters scientific research that lays the foundation for life extension therapies for humans. Previous laureates have already shown that healthy life can be extended; each new winner pushes the outer limits of healthy life even further.

MLife Sciences makes founding investments in organizations that are making pioneering advances in the twin missions of slowing the aging process as well as rejuvenating the body from the negative effects of aging. This strategy is currently focused on three initiatives: Organovo, the SENS Foundation, Halcyon Molecular, and we plan to add many more.
