JA seeks to inspire and prepare young people to succeeed in today''s global economy. JA of Chicago, founded in 1940, has reached over 4 million students over the past years. JA''s unique economic education curriculum is taught by business and community volunteers who serve as role models to children.JA programs focus on life skills, personal finance and career choices. By teaching youth the importance of the three pillars - financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship - our goal is to prepare the future workforce with the skills that they need to succeed, with programs emphasizing that education is the key to success.
