The mission of the Institute of HeartMath is to help establish heart-based living and global coherence by inspiring people to connect with the intelligence and guidance of their own hearts.

The Institute of HeartMath, a nonprofit 501 (c)  (3) organization is an internationally recognized in stress management, research and education organization dedicated to heart-based living - we inspire people to connect with the guidance and intelligence of their hearts in concert with their minds to achieve personal and global coherence. IHM is a global leader in emotional physiology, stress management and physiology of heart-brain research, heart-rhythm-pattern and heart-rate-variability analyses, the physiology of optimal learning and intuition. Education research-based, learning programs, materials and technology are to help pre-school to college students and teachers make the learning experience engaging and effective inside and outside the classroom.


IHM special initiatives are: 
 
Heart-Based Education Sponsorship Fund providing Education programs and technology into the hands of students and teachers who otherwise would not have access to them. 

HeartMath Military Warrior Initiative providing HeartMath tools and technologies to troops returning from combat and veterans faced with tremendous hardships and psychological problems.  

Membership is a worldwide community working every day to create a better world. Stay update on recent research, how emotions affect physical health, social environments and learning.

Global Coherence Initiative: The Global Coherence Initiative is a science-based initiative uniting millions of people in heart-focused care and intention, to shift global consciousness. IHM is developing an advanced sensing technology, allowing us to observe changes in the earth's magnetic field and test the hypothesis that the earth's field is affected by mass human emotion, positive or negative.
