Guatemala Human Rights Commission USA

GHRC/USA has a long history of educating the US public, media, policy makers and non-governmental organizations about human rights in Guatemala. GHRC/USA publishes the bi-weekly UPDATE, which contains the most recent information on human rights related issues and the Human Rights Review, an annual analysis of conditions in that country. In the case of emergency situations, the Commission issues ALERTS, which produce a world-wide network of responses direct to Guatemalan government officials. Special projects, designed in a joint partnership with Guatemalans and Guatemalan organizations, have created the impetus for a Guatemalan human rights movement both in the US and abroad.
