Fairfax Area Christian Emergency and Transitional Services, Inc. dba FACETS

FACETS was founded in 1988 to respond to the diverse and multiple needs of homeless and low-income people living in Fairfax, VA. FACETS began as an outreach project of 3 Episcopal churches and has grown to include 95 area congregations of all denominations.



More than 3,000 volunteers share their time and talents with FACETS by participating in the hot meals and hypothermia programs, as well as mentoring, tutoring, and more. FACETS seeks to build strong families and safe communities by improving the quality of life of impoverished men, women and children. It does this by offering programs that respond to their individual physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
