We stand for environmental justice, sustainable development and participatory democracy. Our aim is to ensure the EU secures a healthy environment and rich biodiversity for all.
The EEB is Europe's largest federation of environmental organisations with 140+ member organisations who gain their membership from the general public. Because of this, we are guided by the voices of 15 million European citizens, and act as the ears and voice of its members towards the EU decision makers.
We work on a vast array of environmental issues and our policy officers use experts, scientists, our members, and politicians to work towards developing and protecting environmental policies. Take a look at our Activities section which explains what we work on and what we do, and our EEB Work Programme 2010 for much more detail on our coming activities this year.
