OUR MISSION   To have been chosen…   Our dogs, all rescues from the streets and the shelters were thrown away, banished from love simply because no one took the time to recognize the beauty and special gifts each animal had to offer. These dogs came to know the love, compassion and empathy they deserve. In turn we take these virtues and extend to the children that same outpouring of love that brings healing to the heart, mind and soul. Our skilled and caring trainers all share the same belief that through interaction with our canine helpers we can break through barriers to create memories that will last a lifetime.  Through the gentle eyes of dogs a child can see and feel the love that only man’s best friend innately delivers.   Dream Fetchers is dedicated to the idea that through the unconditional love of animals any child can, in spite of their disabilities be touched and delighted by a friendly pup through a program of learning and love. Our program will bring children and animals together to interact and bond—a wonderful distraction from pain, depression or frustration.   Dream Fetchers, a non-profit organization, offers critically, chronically and terminally ill children a once in a lifetime inspirational experience working with movie dogs! A magical opportunity comes alive for these children to interact with the stars themselves! We also wish to share this uniquely positive encounter with the physically and mentally challenged and all disadvantaged children.   We hear the call. We see the need. We dare not ignore.   Help us help them.
