Democracy North Carolina is a non-partisan, non-profit organization committed to fulfilling the promise of "one person, one vote" and ensuring equal access and full participation of all voters in the electoral process. Democracy North Carolina sponsors research, organizing, coalition building, public education, and training projects that enhance the vitality of democracy in North Carolina, examine the impact of the current campaign finance system on North Carolina elections and public policy, and advance important governmental reforms, including public financing of elections and Same-Day voter registration.
