DC Rape Crisis Center

The DC Rape Crisis Center is a private non-profit organization that has served the Washington community since 1972, offering free, 24-hour-a-day counseling, support, and crisis intervention for sexual assault survivors, their families and friends. Dedicated to the vision of a world free from sexual violence against women, the Center helps survivors regain control over their lives. Through community education and public policy work, the Center seeks to heighten awareness about sexual assault and to affect a social change. The Center is a resource for women from all backgrounds and is committed to cultural diversity, coalition work, and advocacy on social justice issues.
