COLAGE breaks the social isolation and legal discrimination faced by people with LGBT parents and secures respect, dignity and rights for us, for our families and for all families. To fulfill its mission, COLAGE offers an integrated array of peer support, community building, education, leadership, and advocacy programs structured to empower children and youth, strengthen families, create safer communities, and promote just laws and policies. COLAGE has made a particular commitment to expand and/or deepen connections and work with historically marginalized communities (e.g. people of color, people with transgender parents, rural/southern people) by incorporating cross-issue education and organizing throughout all of its programming.
