CHOICE Humanitarian

The Center for Humanitarian Outreach and Inter-Cultural Exchange (CHOICE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending global poverty through the creation of self-developing villages and a worldwide culture of participation.  The CHOICE Model empowers impoverished villagers to take control of their future, teaching a model of development that builds leadership capacity and facilitates the generation and achievement of a village-defined vision for a better life.  CHOICE engenders cross-cultural communication by engaging expeditions of international volunteers to assist in the completion of village-managed projects.  By stimulating the exchange of ideas, values and labor, CHOICE thrusts the world community into a collaborative process for ending global poverty
