CHEJ mentors a movement, building healthier communities by empowering people to prevent harm caused by exposure to chemicals in their environment.  CHEJ provides the information, tools, direction, and encouragement local leaders need to prevent harm by keeping dangerous chemicals out of their air, water, food and consumer products.  CHEJ has assisted over 11,000 groups nationwide since we were founded in 1981.
