American Friends of ALYN Hospital

ALYN Hospital was founded in Israel in 1934 and is the only comprehensive pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation center for the physically disabled offering disabled children and young adults all of the services (medical, para-medical and educational) necessary for rehabilitation in one facility. We treat children suffering from trauma and head injuries caused by car accidents, neuro-muscular diseases, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, congenital deformities, general pediatric orthopedics, infants needing intermediate ventilation and special feeding management and the disabilities caused by invasive procedures to treat cancer or burns. Patients are treated regardless of religion or nationality and the staff believes that physical handicaps are not obstacles but challenges that can be overcome through a unique multi-disciplinary approach.
