Grameen means Rural to me. Cities are parasites on the countrysides. Cities rake in the raw materials, churn out the finished goods, and then rake in the profits This exploitation must be studied and dealt with to prevent injustice wherever it exists The migration from villages to urban sectors must be reduced by creating jobs in the rural areas We must all be committed to this. I am willing to do my share, and more.

As a RESULTS Partner the work of Dr. Yunus is of much interest to me, as is the lobbying for microcredit. seattle is the home of Grameen Technology Center which works closely with us in seattle. i look forward to seeing Dr. Yunus next week speaking at the University of Washington, and the associated book signing. i had the honor of meeting him the week of Stand Up here, amazing. thank you for your consideration. sammi fredenburg ONE volunteer facilitator, RESULTS Partner
