For: TO draft & sign a bill mandating natural gas companies involved in forced-water fracking, natural gas (Burgess Shale) exctraction (''cracking'') to buy at before-market price, the land and homes on it they have ruined by said practice.
The "you ruined it, you can live there now" bill is essential to hold greedy, irresponsible companies (AND THEIR private CONTRACTORS) culpable for ruining the land, water, livestock, futures, health and livelihood, and value of property and homes of both contractual signees ill-informed of the consequences of fracking beneath their land and is detrimental to neighbors who must unfairly share in the consequences of having their aquifers likewise ruined, thus forcing them to move or die, and this bill will thus force said companies to be responsible for their actions financially while at the same time creating empathy among them for the results of their environmentally irresponsible actions that cost all tax-payers much more expense than they will ever earn from said actions of fracking in the first place. It would be nice if said scoundrel companies were also forced to live there on ruined homesteads for at least one month so they will be forced to fetch every drop of water they and their families will need to drink and bathe and use for washing.
