Tell D.C. to pass and enforce stronger laws against discriminative practices in the US Military

The Issue

It is time for the US to focus their attention on the racial discriminative practices that are taking place secretly within the the US Military. One clear case is,

 Maj. Tonja  L. Williams, an African American woman who has dedicated her life to serving  the U.S. Military since 1985. She is a single mother of three. The oldest will be graduating with honors in April the middle child started college in Janurary and is a NBA hopeful and the youngest is a Sophmore in High school. Pastor Williams has also been serving as an associate pastor for the last 6 yrs.

 She has managed to care for her family, and work all while trying to obtain a dual Masters degree in Counseling Psycology and Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to that, she is also trying to complete the required military courses during all this unjust treatment, harassment, & racial discrimination.

 She is one of many minorities within the military who are being wrongfully attacked because of their skin color.

About 3 Years ago Mrs.Williams and her daughter were in an automobile accident. She took the proper procedures and contacted her superiors to inform them of what had taken place. She followed all of the steps, and followed all of the rules. Apparently, that still wasn't good enough. Long story short, she is now in danger of losing her 26 year career as a United States Solider. She is not giving up, she is determined to fight for her rights and we are standing with her.

Sadly, there are HUNDREDS of minority soldiers currently serving in the US military who are being  subjected to the same type of racially discriminative practices that Mrs. Williams is going through. We can put a stop to this. The first step is by signing this petition. The next step is to contact your state Representative and demand that stronger legislation be passed to stop racially discriminative practices within the military

We are demanding Justice in her case! She has done nothing wrong, and she does not deserve to be treated in the manner that she has been treated over the past 7 years by the US Military. Stand with us today and support our cause for justice on behalf of Mrs. Williams and the countless other minority soldiers who continue to suffer in secret.

Corey L TeaguePetition StarterI was born on May 18, 1981 in the city of Newark, New Jersey. I began singing when I was 4 years old. As I grew older, the love for singing and music became more and more important to me, and I would continue my aspirations in singing by performing at many talent shows across the country including: High school graduations College graduations Weddings ordinations Consecrations Eventually I began to take on musical administrative roles in the church such as: Minister of music - Bethesda house of Mercy - Paterson, NJ Minister of music - New Generation Healing Temple - Paterson, NJ I held onto these positions and eventually recieved an opportunity to travel with a major gospel group and became a part of the world-famous "Uplifters," touring with them for some time. The Uplifters appeared with gospel greats such as "Luther Barnes," "The Canton Spirituals," "Rizen" just to name a few.
