During the final days of the Bush administration, you and over 40,000 other people took action to stop the Bush's most notorious and harmful last-minute actions: the imposition of a midnight rule that effectively gutted the Endangered Species Act.
Yesterday, the Obama administration revoked one of these Bush Administration rulings thanks to the attention you brought to the issue.
However, the administration has yet to act on a second controversial rule that would limit protections for polar bears. Like the other rule, this Bush administration action sought to remove science from the decision making process.
Please thank the Obama administration for its action yesterday and ask them to continue to restore protections for endangered species by withdrawing the controversial polar bear rule.

Responding to the widespread public opposition, Congress has given the Obama administration the opportunity to reverse the Bush era policy and ensure that polar bears receive protections based on the best available science. But the administration has to act by May 10.
Sincerely,
Greg Haegele
Deputy Executive Director
