Double Your Impact for World Farm Animal's Day
FARM's World Farm Animals Day exposes and memorializes the tragic suffering and death of over 55 BILLION innocent land animals in the world's factory farms and slaughterhouses.
On or around October 2nd, dramatic events, including cage-ins, die-ins, video screenings and acts of civil disobedience draw attention to the unspeakable cruelties faced by farmed animals, while information tables and dedicated leafleters educate the public about the source of their food.
FARM provides all materials, including event packs, posters, handouts and more for FREE to activists, and in our DC headquarters we organize local events and work with supporters across the world to make sure all 50 states and dozens of countries are able to speak up for farmed animals.
But we can't do it alone. The animals need your help.
This year, one of our long time supporters, who wishes to remain anonymous, has promised to match, dollar for dollar, up to the first $50,000 donated for World Farm Animals Day. Whether you can donate $10, $100 or more, your impact will be DOUBLED.
Your investment of $35 for farmed animals would normally provide 25 Vegan Starter Guides to veg newcomers, but will now provide 50. $100 would typically place 10 pro-veg advertisements busy city buses, but will now provide 20.
Larger donations will now go further than ever to place powerful billboards above highways and sponsor dramatic events across the country. Even if you can't get active, you can still make a huge impact for farmed animals this October.
FARM is one a small handful of national organizations to reject welfare reforms in favor of reducing and, eventually, stopping all consumption of animal products. We believe that fighting for larger cages and less atrocious slaughter methods will only lead to continued caging and slaughter.
When 93% of consumers oppose farmed animal abuse, but 98% continue eating them, welfare reforms are a win-win for the meat industry and for consumers.
But the animals lose. And we won't stand for it.
If you won't, either, please consider making a contribution, which will be doubled, this World Farm Animals Day.
Thanks so much for caring,

- The horrific suffering and pain these animals are being subjected to in order to pad the overflowing wallets of the few corporations that essentially control the entire industry is insane. Not only do these animals suffer horrible short lives and unimaginable cruel deaths, but the "food" generated from their suffering is leading to preventable diseases and early deaths of the humans consuming the mountain of super-sized cheap, unhealthy fast food generated from these factory farm operations. PLEASE make it STOP.
