Urge Austin to Make Anti-Choice Clinics Tell the Truth About Services

Urge Austin to Make Anti-Choice Clinics Tell the Truth About Services
The Issue
Update: Victory! Thank you for your help in signing this petition. Now let's make it happen on the federal level: click here to sign the petition to tell Congress that you want anti-choice clinics telling the truth!
On Thursday, April 8th, the Austin City Council will consider a proposed ordinance that would require limited pregnancy centers to post a sign indicating that they do not provide information about or referrals for abortion or comprehensive birth control.
Anti-choice Crisis Pregnancy Centers, which often lie to or mislead their patients, trick women looking to learn about the full range of reproductive health options into coming to them by pretending to be a comprehensive clinic.
This ordinance would require pregnancy centers to post accurate information about their services, and protect women's ability to make informed decisions about their body.
Sign this petition to urge the Austin City Council to pass this ordinance!
Then click here to sign a petition asking the federal government to take similar action to assure women across the country have access to truthful reproductive health information.
