Stop the Deportation of Sudanese Torture Victim Keer Dang!

Stop the Deportation of Sudanese Torture Victim Keer Dang!

The Issue

In less than three weeks, Keer Dang could be deported from the United States to Sudan, a country where he was tortured and enslaved! Please take action immediately by signing the petition to stop his deportation!

Fifteen years ago, Keer Dang was captured from his Denka tribe in Southern Sudan. He was enslaved, tortured, and was blinded by having Chili Peppers rubbed into his eyes. Keer was able to escape bondages in North Sudan, walking for months to get home. But Keer's mother is still enslaved and nowhere to be found. International organization were able to bring Keer to the United States on a visa so he can get treatment and rehab. Despite asking for 6 months, Keer was only given a 3 month visa which expires in less than three weeks. If he is deported, Keer would be sent back to the same country that enslaved him and he could face retaliation for exposing Sudan's atrocities to the world.

We cannot allow for Keer Dang to be deported back to a country where he could face torture and possible death. Take action now by signing the petition to stop Keer Dang's deportation!
