The folks who rely on Social Security in the United States have not gotten a raise for the last two years.  With prices constantly going up for food and other necesities; people on Social Security need their raise.  I am talking about people on a fixed income who have no other money coming in.   They are still receiving funds set at 2009 levels. 

Things have went up a whole lot since that time.  It is not right that people have to make the decision to buy food OR medicine.  Please bring Social Security up to 2011 levels so people won't have to do without basic necessities.  Check this link out for more information:  Global Food Prices Skyrocket!
