On April 26, 2011 a special election will be held in the District of Columbia to fill at at-Large seat on the D.C. Council. We call on Bryan Weaver, former candidate for D.C. Council, Ward 1 and former ANC Commissioner to declare candidacy for this at-Large seat. We believe Bryan Weaver would provide an important voice for our city, helping us all move forward together. This is a critical time for the District, and this special election is an unprecedented opportunity to elect a new, fresh, and independent member to the D.C. Council.

There is a movement building in this city to engage in real discourse about our future. We must keep this conversation going in 2011.
