Support Peaceful Alternatives to War

Support Peaceful Alternatives to War
The Issue
It's not enough to just be against war.
Proven and cost-effective alternatives to war don't get the support they deserve because politicians think Americans don't care.
That's why we are standing up to let politicians know we demand real, peaceful alternatives to war.
Members of Congress are already slashing critical programs in the international affairs budget, which has long been underfunded. With the new challenges we face in this interconnected 21st century world, we must rebuild our civilian capacity so we have tools and expertise outside of the military to engage with the world.
Investing in diplomacy and development makes Americans safer, creates stability and improves lives around the world.
Take action and urge Congress to support full funding of the international affairs budget and reform foreign assistance so we can make sure this funding gets to the people who need it in the most effective way possible.
