The Issue
How absurd is it that an 80-year-old hysteria over a plant that has mild psychotropic effects has restricted our production of one of the most useful and least harmful industrial crops? Following this logic, we would ban the California poppy. How insane is it that this policy continues year after year, as if it makes some sort of rational and legal sense?
