The Nevada HIV/AIDS Strategy (NVHAS) is a comprehensive plan that addresses the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Nevada and the challenges that are faced everyday by those infected with HIV and those affected by or caring for them. This strategy is meant to be a cooperative effort between state, counties, and cities partnerships with direct involvement of agencies and clients. The NVHAS is a 10 year plan of how to identify obstacles and create solutions for the HIV/AIDS epidemic. It will encompass strategies for reduction of infections, increase testing efforts, identifying those out of care, best practices for continuum of care, and evaluation of current systems and financial capabilities.
