As you may already fully be aware of, Judge Richard Goldstone has released a report on allegations of war crimes in Israel's invasion of Gaza (December 23, 2008-January 19, 2009). The 575 page report concludes that crimes were committed by both Israel and Hamas, but that Israel killed approximately 100 Palestinians for every Israeli who died and destroyed vast swaths of private housing, industrial and agricultural facilities and public infrastructure.  The U.S. must call on Israel and Hamas to comply with the Goldstone report's call that each mount independent investigations. The United Nations Security Council might refer the matter to the International Criminal Court if they fail to comply.
