Arrest violent people immediately

Arrest violent people immediately
The Issue
A 15 year old boy who was on crutches following a recent operation, was punched and beaten with his crutches by an adult, in a completely unprovoked attack; as he was walking with his friends from a party in Rothwell, Northamptonshire on Sunday 29th July, back to his mums car parked around the corner. His mum went to look for him and as she drove round the corner the attacker finished his wild rampage and ran off.
The boy is liked by everyone who knows him, he doesn't argue, his teachers speak very highly of him, he is captain of a county rugby team, he always tries to be nice to everyone.
The day after the attack Monday 30th July, the police officer who attended the scene the night before, rang the boys mother Cathy Whittall, and said "they have identified the attacker and will wait until the following weekend, when the violent crime team come on duty, to bring him in for questioning". Cathy was shocked by the lack of urgency. Are you?
His attacker has been identified, yet is still at large 10 days after the attack. Do you think this man, who apparently has a history of violence, should have been arrested immediately? If so, please sign this petition.

Confirmed victory
