Alexander Trofimov was convicted of sexual crimes against children, the largest pedophile conviction in Cambodia's history. After considerable costs and time by numerous organization, Trofimov was convicted 17 charges of sex crimes to young Cambodian girls. This was a victory in a country where sex crimes and trafficking are a constant occurrence and under the corrupt reign of Hun Sen, little is done to the perpetrators. Trofimov is an extremely wealthy Russian land developer with ties to Hun Sen's government and pockets! Hun Sen recently requested the King to pardon him for his crimes, and it was granted to the dismay of watch groups and advocates world wide. This needs to be brought back to the attention of the world and made right again. No pedophile should be granted such immunity. Where is the justice in what these children endured?
