Ninety percent of EDA contributions go to our field projects like the Election Verification Exit Polls and the Arizona Transparency Project.
Our general operations fund pays for the functional fundamentals that support those projects: website, mailing list, phones, printing, newswires -- and when we can afford it, living wages for the mostly unpaid volunteers who keep the wheels turning.
Any nonprofit can tell you, general operating funds are the hardest to come by.
We depend on the gifts of many individual supporters to cover our core operating expenses.
Unrestricted general donations provide us the flexibility and reserve to respond to opportunities and do whatever needs to be done.
