Support Organic Farming Training for 50 Rural Young Adults in Ghana!
Young people are one of the most adversely impacted groups by life in the rural areas of Africa. Like many countries in Africa, Ghanaian society is witnessing a major migration of young people who are abandoning rural life in search of employment and income earning opportunities. Most of them end up on street corners hustling, approaching cars, and hawking any merchandise they can get their hands on.
Through the focused intervention of the organic farming training initiative, 50 rural young adults in Ghana will learn the skills needed to increase their incomes and improve their livelihood while remaining in their villages. The funds will be used to purchase seeds, farming equipment, irrigation equipment, and to pay trainers.
