Recycle

- Mission:
- Promoting recycling as a progressive means of preserving the environment
- Founder:
-
Andrea F.
, San Francisco, CA
- Description:
- Reduction of waste and reuse of resources are two of the primary components of environmental preservation. We believe that one of the simplest--but most important and effective--means of protecting natural resources is by recycling. We promote the expansion of recycling programs in cities as well as rural areas, for homes and businesses. Additionally, we encourage our members and friends to recycle whenever possible in an effort to minimize waste and landfill usage, and reuse materials.

I don't think that people should even have a choice whether or not to recycle. It should be a law that everyone has to. All cities should have pick-up systems so people can leave their paper and plastic recyclables at the end of their drive-way and a truck comes to pick it up.

Dumping items of "trash" on to our fragile planet does not seem logical.
Not reusing resources that are finite does not seem ethical.
For these reasons, I fully support this change.
