Save the Oceans

- Mission:
- To educate individuals about our oceans and inspire them to take action to protect them.

Oceans cover two-thirds of the world's surface, and actions taken in one part of the world can gravely affect habitat and species halfway around the globe. The combined stresses of overfishing, wildlife trade, pollution, and climate change have put the world’s oceans and the plant and animal species they sustain in peril.
Recent statistics underscore the severity of these trends: Two-thirds of fish stocks that supply the global market have been overexploited or fished to maximum capacity; more than half of the world's coral reefs are threatened by human activity; and close to one-fifth of Southeast Asia's reefs have been damaged or destroyed by coral bleaching. - Impact:

I support this cause becasue we need our oceans and the life that is within thme, fore if we do not save our lifes of the ocean we more then likley will have many more issues such as hurricanes and other unstopable weather condictions. The life and the ocean its self is a part of why people travel so far- to of course to see the beach and all that the ocean can and does offer, yet if we dont save what is left of our oceans then what will be around for future generations? nothing I would supest just sand and empty hole where the water once stood still, Father still if we dont save our oceans and the life that lives within the dolphins that people seem to adore and behold so dear will but all fastly disappear, as will the rest of the creatures that call the oceans home.

The ocean is a beautiful and amazing thing. It is so sad that it is in such bad condition, and it's our fault. Things like not properly disposing of you car oil and littering hurts the oceans because thats where it ends up going. The surfers of the world, especially, need to work together to keep the ocean clean. We need to respect it and show other people how to also.

the earth is 2/3rds covered in water and still has a large portion of that undiscovered, no one knows whats really down there. there's so much to discover, saving this for future generations is one of the best things we could do. poor ole' mother natures taken enough of our trash without complaining, i think we owe it to her to be nicer to her in her older age. ;-)
